AIOU Islamabad Commences Spring Admission 2014

Islamabad, Allama Iqbal Open University Islamabad has announced the schedule for the admission in the spring 2014 in different disciplines. The candidates are requested to forward their admission forms along with regular fee up to 31 January 2014 in the disciplines like PhD, MS and MPhil. The late candidates will have to deposit the fine of Rs.500 with the regular fee and send the application forms up to February 10, 2014.

The candidates can send the application forms for admission in the MPhil in the Islamic Studies (General), MPhil in Islamic Studies with the specialization in Quran as well as in Tafseer, MPhil in Arabic, MPhil in Chemistry, MPhil Mass Communication and MPhil Iqbal Studies and MS Community Health and Nutrition (PGD in Nutrition and Dietetics is essential and GAT not compulsory). In the PhD programs, the candidates can send their admission forms for admission in the PhD in Islamic Studies, PhD in Islamic Studies with the specialization in Quraan and the Tafseer. The candidates can also apply for admission in the PhD in Chemistry, Pak languages, and literature, Urdu and Iqbal Studies.

The eligibility criteria for grant of admission in the MPhil and MS program is like that the students should have passed the Master exams second division with GAT passed from the NTS (General) with 50% marks. The eligibility criteria for grant of admission in PhD program is that the students should have passed the MS and MPhil programs first division in concerned subjects with 3 CGPA and GAT test passed from NTS with 50% marks.
