Foundation University
Medical College (FUMC) has offered admissions in the MBBS class for the year
2014. Foundation University Medical College is recognized by the PMDC for
admission of the 150 students and also recognized by the College of Physicians
and Surgeons of Pakistan for FCPS Part 2 training. Foundation University
Medical College is enlisted in the Medical Education Directory (IMED) and
member of International Association of Medical Regulatory Authority (IAMRA) and
it is also included in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDMS) by WHO.
The candidates can
collect the prospectus, application forms and the processing fee for local
candidates for Rs.2000 and bank draft for Rs.2100 in favor of FUMC Islamabad and
for the foreign candidates for US$ 55. The candidates can send the application
forms to the Manager Students Affairs, Foundation University Medical College,
Defence Avenue, Phase-1, Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Islamabad latest by
November 11, 2013. New academic session will be started from January 06, 2014.
After completion of
education, the students will be provided 100% paid house jobs in the teaching
hospital of FFH. The students will also be provided with Post Graduate Training
in the college. FUMC has reserved 2 seats for wards of shudha. The candidates
should have passed the FSc (Pre-Medical) with 60% marks or equivalent or IBCC
equivalent in FSc with at least 60% marks for the students having foreign
qualification. The candidates must have passed the provincial entry test and
the foreign candidates should produce the SAT-II exams score with at least 550
marks in Chemistry, Biology, Physics/Mathematics. The candidates of the
countries having Non-English medium of teaching should provide TOEFL or IELTS
with score of 500 or 5.5. The foreign candidates will be given admission on the
22 seats with FSc or equivalent with 60% marks and above.
